We believe in libraries.

The library is more than stacks of books (though books are important!). It’s a free public space, safe and welcoming. It’s easy access to resources of information and knowledge. It’s a place for creativity and connection. We believe our library is important to the flourishing of our community.

Do you believe in libraries, too?

Join us in furthering the mission of our local library. We raise private funds and spend them on improvements and “extras” at our library — and we have fun doing it.

Some of our recent projects include the mobile computer lab, two gaming computers, a new set of 75 chairs, and a renovation of the program room. We are proud to have also fully funded the library’s Wi-Fi internet portal, which is the largest publically-accessible Wi-Fi internet portal in the city.

We are a 501(c)3 organization affiliated with the Chicago Community Trust Foundation. All contributions are tax-deductible, and 100 percent of the funds raised go directly to benefit the library.

We are established to administer community endowments and gifts to benefit the West Chicago Public Library. Partnering with the Board of Library Trustees and the administration, we fund projects to expand the services provided to our community.
